Cable Aging Management Program Implementation in Krško NPP-NEK

As a requirement for plant life extension more than 40 years some additional Aging Management Programs (AMP) passive equipment have to be implemented. The article presents overview of Cable Program (CAMP) implementation. defines basic rules and initial activities identification adverse operation environment parameters that could lead accelerated aging specific materials. Samples cables are selected based on nuclear safety electrical criticality inspection testing, check functionality prevent unexpected failure during normal operation. Acceptance criteria diagnostic testing been set. Initial visual condition in sampled giving results time preventive measures. First cable management program is implemented since 2010 its experience accommodated other companies with recognized as key components.
